Is Poker-On-Net’s software compatible with Web TV, Macintosh or Windows 3.XX?

Currently, Poker-On-Net’s software is compatible only with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems Version 95 and above.

Macintosh computers are not currently compatible with Poker-On-Net.

Web TV is also not currently compatible with Poker-On-Net.

How Long will the Download take?

Approximately 7 to10 minutes with a standard 56KBS Modem. The file size is around 3MB. The Poker-on-Net software program is the smallest downloadable poker software on the Internet. Our engineers have designed this amazing software without compromising the 3D graphics and cutting edge features.

What are the System Requirements for my PC?

PC System Requirements:
Poker-on-Net’s software requires Microsoft Windows Operating Systems Version 95 or above. Poker-on-Net does not support Windows 3.XX or Web TV. For optimum results, set your monitor to 600 X 800 pixels with high color - 16 bit - or above.

Why isn’t my computer connecting to Poker-on-Net?

  1. Sometimes computers cannot connect to Poker-on-Net if a Firewall or Proxy Server is being used. Consult your Network Administrator, your Network Service Provider or your Internet Service Provider customer support services.

  2. If there is a connection error, just try again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, select the "Contact Us" link to inform us of the problem.

  3. Sometimes a temporary disconnection from the server occurs and may cause Internet connection problems.

Why Can’t I Find the "Poker-on-Net" Icon on My Desktop?

If the "Poker-on-Net" icon isn’t on the desktop or if you have forgotten your selected location follow these steps:

  1. Press on the "Start" menu on the left corner of your monitor screen.
  2. Select "Search" and then "For Files or Folders".
  3. In the file "Name" option enter "PacificPoker.exe" (without the quotes) and select "Find Now".
  4. The computer will search for the file.
  5. If you see a file named "PacificPoker.exe" under the "Name" or "Search Results" section, your computer has found the file and you should double click on it.
  6. If the search is complete and there is no file in the window, then the file was not found. If this occurs, you will need to redo the download process.

Why is My Monitor Fuzzy and the Color Unclear?

Set your monitor to this setting by following these easy steps:

  1. Place the mouse selector anywhere on the desktop, except on a program.
  2. Click on the right button on your mouse.
  3. Go to "Properties".
  4. Go to "Settings".
  5. In the "Desktop Area" move the arrow until you see "600 X 800 pixels".
  6. Under "Colors" select "High Color (16 bit)" or more.
  7. Press "OK" or "Apply".
  8. Press "OK" to accept the new settings.
  9. Connect to the Internet and Poker-on-Net again. Now you should see the program correctly.

These settings will not harm other programs. To return to your original settings when you are done playing, just follow these instructions again and choose the monitor resolution.

How to Uninstall Our Poker-on-Net Software

Poker-on-Net has made the process of uninstalling the software quick and simple for our members convenience. To uninstall the software from your PC follow these steps:

  1. Click on "Start", on the left corner of the Windows Taskbar;
  2. Go to "Programs";
  3. On the menu that opens go to "Poker-on-Net";
  4. On this menu click on "Uninstall Poker-on-Net";
  5. Go to the Select Uninstall Method pop-up window. Select the "Automatic" option box;
  6. Click on "Next";
  7. Click on "Finish";
  8. Poker-on-Net will now automatically uninstall from your computer. This process may take a few moments.
